The Ghost Detective akan berpusat pada Lee Da Il seorang detektif swasta. Dia dulunya bertugas di militer, namun kasus whistleblower menyebabkannya harus keluar. Jung Yeo Wool akan menjadi asistennya sebagai wanita yang tidak kenal rasa takut. Mereka akan bekerja sama untuk memecahkan misteri seputar kematian sang adik kandung.
