Sinopsis:
Pada musim dingin tahun 2001, sebuah kasus pembunuhan terjadi di rumah sakit yang berafiliasi dengan sebuah pabrik percetakan di Kota Haizhou. Polisi pemula Leng Xiao Bing dan seniornya bergegas ke tempat kejadian setelah menerima laporan, tetapi secara tidak sengaja menghadapi pembunuh berantai di Kota Haizhou. Leng Xiao Bing pemalu dan takut menembak. Pembunuhnya melarikan diri dari tempat kejadian dan membunuh seniornya, Li Lan. Saksi lain di tempat kejadian adalah korban, Xia Mu yatim piatu, bersembunyi di bawah tempat tidur. Untuk tetap berada di kepolisian, Leng Xiao Bing menyembunyikan fakta bahwa dia tidak berani menembak, Xia Mu juga tidak mengeksposnya. Sejauh ini, si pembunuh telah bersembunyi, dan kasus Haizhou masih tertunda.
